Privacy & your data
The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no trackers, and the verification service is not live yet, so the only personal data we handle today is the waitlist and the mail you send us. Here is the whole picture.
Last updated 15 July 2026What this page covers
This policy covers the kvickid.com website and the launch waitlist as they exist today. The Kvick ID verification service itself is in development: it is not offered yet, and no real customer identity data is processed; every example you see on this site is synthetic. Before the service handles real personal data, this page will be replaced by a full policy reviewed by lawyers. We are building the service with the GDPR and EU AML requirements in mind, and we would rather describe that plainly than claim more than we can show.
Who is responsible
Kvick ID is being built by its founding team, and the operating company is being established in the EU. For anything about your data (questions, requests, complaints), write to contact@kvickid.com and a founder will answer.
What we collect today
- The waitlist. Your email address, handled by MailerLite with double opt-in: nothing is stored until you click the confirmation link. It is used for one thing: telling you when Kvick ID opens. Every email carries an unsubscribe link.
- Mail you send us. Your address and what you wrote, kept as ordinary correspondence for as long as the conversation needs.
- Hosting. The site is served by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, the host handles standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages. We add no analytics of our own on top.
- Cookies: none. This site sets no cookies and loads no trackers. That is also why there is no cookie banner to click away.
When the service opens
What we are building toward, described for transparency, not as a promise of compliance:
- You verify once, with a specialist KYC provider. Your documents and selfie stay with that provider. Kvick ID never holds them.
- Kvick ID keeps your verified details (name, date of birth, nationality, residence) and your verification status.
- Nothing is shared with a platform without your approval, the request names exactly what saying yes will share, and withdrawing your consent works at any time with immediate effect.
- Every share is logged and visible to you.
The full privacy policy for the live service lands before any real data does.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how it is used, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. For the waitlist, the unsubscribe link in any email is the fastest route. For everything else, write to contact@kvickid.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
How long we keep things
Waitlist addresses are kept until the launch communication they exist for is done, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. Correspondence is kept as long as the conversation needs, then deleted.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes to how the waitlist works would be announced to the waitlist itself.
